The Viewing Room
'The Viewing Room' is a new comedy by Mark Smith being performed at the newly renovated Howe Avenue Theater at Howe Avenue Park. It opens on September 14th and runs the last three weekends of the month. Directed by Leo McElroy and featuring a cast of eight, this dark comedy will keep you laughing. And there's a good dramatic story beneath which will stimulate conversation long after you've left the theater.
Stern patriarch Chester Dumbrosky has decided to make amends to his family. Driven by his failure to communicate when alive, he feels compelled to 'return' on the day of his 'Wake' to say things he had left unsaid.
Understandably, his family has very mixed emotions about his re-awakening. Lots of angst and laughs as this dysfunctional family tries to heal old wounds. Be prepared to laugh and cry with the Dumbrosky clan. Come early to enjoy the park!
