Watershed Issues Forum: Salmon Recovery & Restoration
The public is invited to attend a forum featuring guest panelists on salmon and habitat restoration in the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed (WRIA 12).

Six guest panelists will give 8-10 minute overview presentations of their organization's work related to local salmon recovery and restoration, followed by a 1/2 hour Q & A session with the panel, and then a 1/2 hour social/networking time.

Kristin Williamson, South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group on Titlow Lagoon restoration
Jordan Rash, Forterra, on dam removal at Chambers estuary
Tara Livingood-Schott, WDFW on salmon population & restoration opportunities in the watershed
Rowena Valencia-Gica, Camp Murray, WA Military Dept. on American Lake and Murray Creek restoration
Sherrie Duncan, Sky Environmental for Pierce County Lead Entity on local Salmon Enhancement and Recovery Strategy
Tim Hagan, Pierce County on the Clover Creek Alternative

An optional short field trip will be offered at 2:30pm on campus to look at PLU's restoration site and see the historic channel of Clover Creek, which is on campus.

Food and beverages may be purchased in the cafeteria located in the Anderson University Center.
