Legacy Film Festival on Aging
We are celebrating the 8th Annual Legacy Film Festival on Aging: 7 separate programs of films during the three day event, September 14-16, 2018, at the New People Cinema, 1746 Post St, in Japan Town, San Francisco.
We are showcasing little-known, independent short films, documentaries and feature length narrative stories made in the USA, as well as the UK, Serbia, Bulgaria, Sardinia, Czech Republic, Mexico, and Colombia. As always, there will be a post-screening Q&A for each program.
Each of the seven programs has a theme: Legacy Shorts: Fresh Views Views, On the Edge, Uncaring/Caring, Choices, Embargoed, The Joys of Friendship, and A Family Saga.
One of the viewers answered the post-screening evaluation by stating: The festival allows younger people to see their potential in older years and older people to appreciate their journey in later life.
The Legacy Film Festival on Aging emphasizes how aging can be a great adventure. So come and see for yourselves!
