RISE for Climate, Jobs and Justice - Marin or Sonoma Buses
We're so glad to have you on board. Here is how the buses work:

BUS PICKUP IN YOUR CITY 9AM:
Some buses may have multiple pickup locations, but all Santa Rose riders need to be ready to leave at 8:45AM.

All other riders need to be ready to leave at 9:00AM from your pickup spot in case your bus does not have multiple stops.

Pickup address options are:
-Santa Rosa: Sonoma County Park & Ride, 1350 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa, CA (opposite the Veterans Memorial Building, near E Street)
-Rohnert Park/Cotati: Doubletree Hotel, 1 Doubletree Drive, Rohnert Park, CA (east side of 101 at the Wilfred Avenue/Golf Course Drive exit)
-Petaluma: Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds parking lot, 175 Fairgrounds Drive (just off East Washington Street, next to Petaluma Public Library)
-Novato: San Marin SMART Station, 7700 Redwood Blvd, Novato, CA (off Atherton Avenue)
-Greenbrae:  Greenbrae Park and Ride, Drakes Landing Office Park, Greenbrae (Del Monte at Sir Francis Drake Blvd)
- or Mill Valley: Mill Valley Middle School, 425 Sycamore Avenue (off Camino Alto, near the unforgettable sewage treatment plant)

BUS DROP-OFF IN SAN FRANCISCO:
Before getting off the bus in SF, we will ensure:
-Everyone knows where to meet at 3:30PM for departure
-The driver has everyones phone number
-Every person has a buddy to double the options for contacting a missing person, and to minimize anyone getting lost

For the march line-up, we are gathering near Embarcadero Plaza - you won't be able to miss us!

BUS PICK-UPS IN SAN FRANCISCO 3:30PM:
We expect that the 1.7 mile march will fully arrive at Civic Center by 2:00PM, where there will be other activities like street murals, information tables and more. Due to anticipated road closures, buses will pick people up about 2 blocks away. Your bus will pick a specific group meeting point at which to gather at 3:30PM for departure from San Francisco.

FOOD:
We don't not have any food carts planned, but there are plenty of food options (for meals, to-go, or for snacks) around both Embarcadero and Civic Center, and along the march route. Dont forget to bring snacks and re-fillable water bottles!

Once you buy a ticket, your name will be added to the Will Call list, which bus captains will have to know to let you on the bus. You will not need to present a ticket to get on the bus, just your name and photo ID.

Kids and minors welcome with adult supervision!

About 20 seats are still available on the buses. Share the bus ticket link here:  https://marinorsonomarisebus.brownpapertickets.com
