The Responsible Application of Data Analytics
As data science begins to be applied in business and government, questions are being asked, by auditors, executives and Board Directors. They want to be satisfied that negative impacts have been recognised and mitigated, and that risks have been managed.
This presentation reports on the outcomes of a project to establish 'Guidelines for Responsible Data Analytics', comprising a checklist of Do's and Don'ts. These are then mapped onto a business process model, to identify the appropriate point at which each of the checks is most usefully performed.
