SAVE TARA CONCERT
TARA has been the seat of Ireland's High Kings since the first century.
A motorway is being constructed (as we speak!) through the valley of TARA/SKRYNE, a site with perhaps the most potent mythology of any place in Europe, and one of the most culturally and archaeologically significant places in the world. The whole ecology of the area is threatened.
The Irish arts community is joining together and striking out to help save our ancient and treasured heritage. In the words of our Nobel Poet Laureate Seamus Heaney the destruction of Tara is a "RUTHLESS DESECRATION".
