The Art of Scientific Illustration Sharon Birzer June 25-28, 10 am-4 pm Beginning and intermediate
Connect to the natural world and build skills in drawing and painting detailed zoological and botanical illustrations using a variety of media. Working outdoors when weather permits, students sketch flora from the Museum's surrounding neighborhood. During studio sessions, students work with botanical specimens to develop strengths in observation and drafting.
CREDIT AND CLOCK HOURS Seattle Pacific University uses the quarter system and issues quarter credits. Payment for credit or clock hour fees is paid directly to SPU on the first day of class.
Studio classes: $84 for two SPU credits and $40 for twenty clock hours
Advance registration required. Due two weeks before the first day of course or class. To ensure registration, submit completed form and full payment. Space is limited. Registration confirmed by email or mailed receipt.
The Frye Art Museum reserves the right to cancel any course or class. If the Museum cancels a course or class, a full refund will be issued. If participant cancels enrollment more than two weeks prior to start date, a full refund will be issued, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds issued with less than two weeks' notice. To cancel registration, call 206 432 8200 between 9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday.
