Collage
Collage Tricia Stackle July 30-August 2, 10 am-4 pm Beginning and intermediate
Students create several collages each day while mastering paper cutting, gluing, and other basic techniques. More advanced materials are then introduced including fabric, thread, photographs, and found objects. Experiment by adding drawing, painting, printing, and stitching marks. Collages by Pablo Picasso, Joseph Cornell, Robert Rauschenberg, among other artists, provide inspiration.
CREDIT AND CLOCK HOURS Seattle Pacific University uses the quarter system and issues quarter credits. Payment for credit or clock hour fees is paid directly to SPU on the first day of class.
Studio classes: $84 for two SPU credits and $40 for twenty clock hours
Advance registration required. Due two weeks before the first day of course or class. To ensure registration, submit completed form and full payment. Space is limited. Registration confirmed by email or mailed receipt.
The Frye Art Museum reserves the right to cancel any course or class. If the Museum cancels a course or class, a full refund will be issued. If participant cancels enrollment more than two weeks prior to start date, a full refund will be issued, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds issued with less than two weeks' notice. To cancel registration, call 206 432 8200 between 9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday.
