Rain falls as androids prowl. High science edges into the surreal beneath the haze of neon lights and steam-breathing machinery. Insurgent hackers and cold-shouldered Siliquettes brush past each other on the dirty sidewalks. Grimy buildings hide the lavish interiors of the elite, and many an apple-cheeked companion proves too perfect to be real.
