Picklewater Clown Cabaret presents a benefit for Judy Finelli!
Please join us for an amazing show, for one evening only directed by our hero, Judy Finelli!
This April's Picklewater Clown Cabaret will feature some of the Bay Area's finest circus and variety stars including a bevy of local and international professional circus artists, comedians, and Clown Conservatory Alumni In an original variety arts show, with the award winning physical comedians of the Picklewater Clown Cabaret directed by circus legend and community hero Judy Finelli!
With a cast of clowns and acrobats from all across the bay area and around the world, the Picklewater Clown Cabaret is filled with brand new material from some of the bay areas favorite physical comedians.
About the Judy Finelli
Judy Finelli graduated NYU School of the Arts. She studied circus arts for the next eight years and performed in Circus Vargas, Merlyn's Magic Circus, the Electric Circus, Pickle Family Circus, Circo dell 'Arte, Sesame Street, Popeye, etc. Was the first woman president of the International Jugglers Association and the first American woman to pass nine clubs in performance. Was the artistic director of the Pickle Family Circus 1987-1990 and cofounded the SF School for Circus Arts in 1984.
In 1989, Judy was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). Although she had to physically leave her beloved school, she remained its driving spirit and maintained a keen interest in its activities. Judy continues to be a driving force in Bay Area circus community and is treasured by all of us who have studied under her.
