How closely is your work in investment or finance aligned with your values? What can you do to reflect your most deeply held values more fully in your day-to-day work? How can we build cultures in financial institutions that do more to support sustainability, a fairer society and personal authenticity? And how can we build a community of people who share this vision?
This is not an evening of presentations, panels and formal Q&A. Come and join us if you want to take part in heartfelt and honest conversations of a kind we dont very often in the office have about some of the things that matter most to us (and have a bit of fun at the same time). No talking heads, no corporate masks. Just bring your real self and your curiosity.
If you work in investment or finance and are a human being, this evening is for you.
The evening will be facilitated by Rob Lake. Rob has worked in sustainability for nearly thirty years and in responsible investment for seventeen years for an investment manager, an asset owner, the PRI, and now independently. In the last few years he has become increasingly focused on the values, mindsets and beliefs that underlie our behaviours and decisions all the things we know are there but dont usually talk about; the things that support or obstruct our work to bring sustainability and a concern for human wellbeing to investment and finance organisations. To explore this area, Rob has established Authentic Investor www.authenticinvestor.org.
This event is organised with support from the EIRIS Foundation - www.eirisfoundation.org
