Driftwomen: Presented By Shifting Sands
What happens when a story is buried, and forgotten?
After over half a year of planning, dreaming, and creating, we are thrilled to share a brand NEW WORK, Driftwomen - a multimedia performance art piece presented in the great outdoors. Join us, and explore forgotten midwest legend Alice Gray's life through three spheres: the spectacle, the public, and the ideal.
We are ready to embark on our first self-produced tour across the midwest to share Alice's story! Meet us at our MINNEAPOLIS show located at the peninsula south of Cedar Lake Point Beach (across the lake from Hidden Beach, see attached map).
This is an outdoor performance, so make sure to bring your favorite picnic blanket or camping pads, bug spray may be nice too.
Tickets are available until 3:30PM online, otherwise you may purchase a ticket at the show using card, cash, or check!
Parking is limited, so carpool, bike, hike, or canoe There is additional street parking off of Basswood Road
Join us in a musical and theatrical celebration of the precious natural spaces that Alice fought to protect
