Comedy Improv in the Forest
Join the Forest Theater Guild in extending a hearty welcome to Monterey Comedy Improvs first ever Forest Theater performance.
The Guild is happy to be partnering with Monterey Comedy Improv for their first summer at the Forest and in welcoming special guest, Laura Hall, Musical Director of the hit TV show, Whose Line is it, Anyway? for a spectacular show at The Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This iconic theater will be the scenic backdrop for a lively performance similar in style to Whose Line is it Anyway?, in which the players take suggestions or volunteers from the audience and create entertaining scenes and characters. Featuring the Penisula's Premier Improv Troupe, Monterey Comedy Improv, with guest performer, veteran Second City improviser, Rick Hall, this show promises to be unlike any improv performance youve ever seen!
Laura Hall is best known as the improvisational pianist and Musical Director on Whose Line is it Anyway?, which ran for eight years on ABC with Drew Carey hosting. After a long hiatus the show is currently in its fourth season on the CW Network, with Aisha Tyler hosting. During the hiatus, Laura toured the country with Drew Carey and the Improv All Stars.
