Event
Idea into Action
**There is space for tonight's event. If you didn't purchase tickets you can still come and pay at the door. No one turned away for lack of funds**
**Bring your own bowl and fork for food! Vegan food will be $2. If you don't have your own bowl... we have a limited supply of some compostable stuff and price will be $5.
In this time of environmental, social and political unrest, it helps to come together in community and inspire each other to continue doing the work that needs to be done.
This night will serve to educate and inspire you into action. We will hear about real, impactful environmental and social justice efforts to reconnect to WHY conservation is so critical at this time and why it can't exclude other systemic issues of oppression. We will learn simple actions and solutions that we can implement in our daily lives to minimize our impact on the earth and build self-reliance. We will explore how decolonizing the zero waste and conservation movement is one of the most strategic ways to create radical and lasting change for the betterment of all people, especially people of color who have been disproportionally negatively impacted by the current earth crisis.
Tickets are for purchase, and all proceeds will go toward supporting these radical speakers and activists in the current work they are doing. If you'd like to attend and can't afford the "donation" amount please get in touch with me and we will save you a spot :) no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Thanks for your support
