MN is Still In: Leadership on Climate Action
Join Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy on Wednesday, June 13 for a day of inspiration, collaboration, and tangible steps for sustainability during this powerful day featuring keynote, James Redford and his movie Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution.
We know that to build a better future we must first imagine ourselves there. Minnesota is one of 17 states active in the U.S. Climate Alliance, which alongside 2,500 businesses, cities, universities they represent more than 40% of the U.S. population, 1.6 million clean energy jobs and $9 trillion in GDP. Minnesota leadership is committed to leading on climate change, taking climate action that will benefit our economy and communities across the state and to show the nation that ambitious climate action is achievable.

Leadership on Climate Action Business Workshop 2-5 p.m. Grand 1858 Space Minneapolis Event Centers St. Anthony Main
How can you deepen your resolve to climate action as a business leader? Learn the latest climate science, clean energy advances, and policy initiatives. Participate in collaborative workshops for small, midsize, and multinational companies to reduce your carbon footprint in your operations and supply chain. Learn how to powerfully communicate on climate change for effective action. Includes networking happy hour from 5-6:30 pm.

Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution Film Screening 7-9 p.m. St. Anthony Main Theater (in partnership with the Film Society of Minneapolis St. Paul and Q&A with James Redford)
We're hosting a private film screening and Q & A with Producer, James Redford. For many, solutions to climate change seem out of reach, out of scale, and fatally entwined in partisan politics. Happening provides an inside look at the inspiring citizens, business leaders, and politicians leading the clean energy revolution across the nation.
