Author Grace Bonney @ The Eastern
Grace Bonney, founder of Design*Sponge and author of the bestselling books In the Company of Women and Design*Sponge at Home, presents Good Company, her new journal aimed at providing motivation, inspiration, practical advice, and a vital sense of connection and community for women and nonbinary creatives at every stage of life.

Grace will speak about Good Company along with contributors from the first issue, The Community Issue.

Joining Grace will be:
Warda Bouguettaya (Baker)
Andrea Williams of Paisley Paper Co (Stationery Designer)
Lisa Ludwinski of Sister Pie (Baker)
Jenifer Daniels (brand strategist and impact investor)

Each issue of Good Company focuses on one overarching theme, including Change, Fear, Community, Mentors, and much more.

Content includes first-person essays and pep talks from well-known creatives, studio visits and interviews, group discussions, and in-depth explorations of specific fields and niches, from designers in rural areas to the next generation of publishers providing platforms for marginalized voices and communities.

With its emphasis on the power of inclusivity, community, and embracing our differences, Good Company  provides an energetic, safe, and supportive place to connect, learn, grow, and work through the challenges that creative people experience in pursuing their passions and dreams.

Grace Bonney is the author of the bestselling books In the Company of Women and Design*Sponge at Home. Bonney is passionate about supporting all members of the creative community: she founded Design*Sponge, a daily website dedicated to the creative community, which currently reaches nearly 2 million readers per day; runs an annual scholarship for up-and-coming designers; writes a free business column for creatives; and is the host of a weekly podcast, After the Jump, which reaches over 500,000 listeners per episode. Bonney lives in New Yorks Hudson Valley with her wife and their three pets.

Each ticket includes 1 copy of Good Company: The Community Issue (Issue 1).
