Oregon Rail Heritage Center is hosting its 3rd annual Portland Train Day. This year's theme will highlight the 80th birthday of our own SP&S 700 engine! What better way to experience Portland Train Day than with us - Oregon's only working rail museum.
Portland Train Day joins Train Days across the country in commemorating the completion of the first transcontinental railroad with the pounding of the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, Utah on May 10, 1869.
Ales on Rails is Portland Train Day's after-hours celebration for ages 21+, offering live acoustic music and a 1.5 hour ride on the OPRs scenic railway.
We hope to see you there! #portlandtrainday
