Stand-Up Tragedy (an evening of tragic variety)
Part cabaret, part variety show, part performance-driven cathartic frenzy welcome to the Berlin premiere of
Stand-Up Tragedy: an evening of tragic variety
Stand Up Tragedy makes you sad; we make you think; we make you smile. Expect storytelling, comedy, clowns, burlesque, puppets, poetry, and more, all playing up to the tragic form but not always taking it seriously. The night ends, not with a whimper, not with a bang, but with a cathartic sing-a-long.
Performers include:
Brian Bell (dramatic monologue) Duckie L'Orange (cabaret + puppetry) Sophie Fenella (clowning + poetry) Marne Litfin (the darker side of stand-up) Olympia Bukkakis (drag + rant) Noemi Veberi Levovnik (performance + burlesque) HOST: Cameryn Moore (storytelling + TRUTHBOMBS)
What is Stand Up Tragedy?
