Transatlantic Love Affair's production of Ash Land
Everwood Farmstead Foundation continues its 7th season of the Artist Series with Transatlantic Love Affair's production of Ash Land on Saturday, July 21st.

Inspired by economic hardships past and present, Ash Land is a re-imagining of the Cinderella story set in the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. It is a story of love and self, lost and found, scored by traditional American spirituals and original composition on slide guitar, and presented in Transatlantic Love Affair's (TLA) signature physical style. Ash Land debuted at the MN Fringe Festival in August 2012 and made Fringe history by selling out the 460-seat Rarig Thrust venue, winning the Audience Choice additional performance, and becoming the best-selling show of the Festivals 19 years.

TLA is a physical theatre ensemble that has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the vibrant Twin Cities theater community and beyond. TLA develops original works through collaborative creation that celebrate the human body as the ultimate theatrical instrument, and unites artists and audiences in imagining new worlds together. Founded in 2010, they are the creators of nine original works, including the 2012 Ivey Award winning Ballad of the Pale Fisherman and Promise Land which was presented at the Guthrie Theater's Dowling Studio in February 2017.

Everwood's Pay-What-You-Can ticket price is simple-choose your ticket price from the list above. One-half of your ticket price will be provided to the artists and the other half will be distributed through Everwood's Aspiring Artists Fund. The Fund provides grants to arts-focused teachers in Barron, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties for projects that spark wonder and talent in their young, aspiring artists. Everwood reveals a recipient(s) at each performance. Since 2010, Everwood has donated almost $18,000 to local school programs.
