"Our Choral Roots" - featuring The Alumni Project and special guests
The Alumni Project is pleased to present a choral concert featuring all the pieces new and old that represent where we've come from and the songs we love to sing!
Choral repertoire will include favourites such as Larry Nickel's 'The Storm Is Passing Over', Billy Joel's 'Lullabye' & 'And So It Goes', Swingle Singers 'Country Dances' and many more! We will also be performing the beautiful music of Norwegian composer, Ola Gjeilo, with 'The Lake Isle' featuring internationally renowed guitarist, Itamar Erez. Also on the program will feature a few vocal duets, quintets and even a medley of music from the beloved "Les Miserables."
We are privileged to share the stage with the Calvin Dyck String Quartet as well as members or the Pacific Mennonite Children's Choir and Ajay Klassen on percussion.
