League of Women Voters of Cook County Annual Meeting May 14
This event is open to the public. The Cook County League of Women Voters will hold its annual business meeting first, followed by guest speaker Richard Monocchio, Executive Director of Cook County Housing Authority. The Cook County League has an interest group investigating affordable housing in Cook County. Mr. Monocchio advocates for safe and affordable housing in Cook County, and is a dynamic and knowledgeable speaker.
Tickets are $35 each. The event will be held at the University Center, 525 South State Street, from 9:30 am to 1 pm.
