Described by NPR as "joyous folk pop," Kuinka laces modern folk and Americana with an electronic jolt. Their genre-defying music features several different lead singers and eclectic instrumentation, including cello, banjo, synthesizers, clarinet, and found-percussion made from clicking typewriter keys and banging on tin cans. But for all of their sonic experimentation, Kuinka's songs are consistently linked by a joyous energy that remains present in everything they do. With exquisite album production from Jerry Streeter (Brandi Carlile, the Lumineers) and gorgeous, cinematic music videos, Kuinka are artists in every sense of the word.
