The Art and Science of Cheesemaking: Burrata
Co-op Cooking School & Community Learning Center, on the second floor
Sacramento, CA
Share this event:

A specialty of Puglia, Italy, burrata resembles a soft mozzarella with a surprise inside: a creamy, lava-like center that derives its name from burro, Italian for butter. We will develop an understanding of protein elongation and pasta filata cheeses and create delicious burrata, filled with our own stracciatella and cream.

Instructor: Sacha Laurin

This is a hands on class using vegetarian rennet.

Students will enjoy a complimentary glass of wine for those 21 and over.

Cancellation Policy: Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice.

Parking is available in the parking garage at 28th & S streets.
