"HUMAN FLOW" - A REFUGEE BENEFIT - A MASTERFUL FILM
Internationally known filmmaker, Ai Weiwei has documented the plight of refugees from 23 countries. "HUMAN FLOW" was an official selection at Venice Film Festival 2017 and Nominated for 2018 Oscar as Best Documentary.
Proceeds from all ticket sales from this film showing will go directly to refugee families from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan who now live in southern California.
Sponsored by Refugee Resettlement Team #2, a group of volunteers who provide transitional support to refugees in Pomona & San Gabriel Valleys, CA. www.refugeeteam2.org. This team helps supplement refugees' rent, assist with registration for schools, social services, medical appointments, provides furniture, transportation and English Language lessons.
