Crop Mob: Roots Flower Farm
What is a Crop Mob anyway? A Crop Mob is a group of volunteers that come together to help out a local farmer in need. This could mean helping the farmer bulk harvest, plant, weed, do repair work, put up a structure, or a variety of other tasks.
We at the Dickinson Farm are calling on you to help us organize our very own Crop Mob! Our next volunteer opportunity will be 4/6 with Michelle Elston of Roots Cut Flower Farm. Come learn from this inspiring female farmer and get your hands dirty in the fields!
Shuttles will leave from the DPS/CSE patio promptly at 1 PM. Participants can expect to help out with chores from 1:30-4:00 PM before enjoying a snack with fellow volunteers and departing Roots at 4:30 PM.
