Evanston Bluegrass Festival
The 2018 Evanston Bluegrass Festival is a two-day festival held at beautiful and historic Depot Square in downtown Evanston, Wyoming. This years festival will be held on Friday, June 22nd from 5:30pm to 10pm and Saturday, June 23rd from noon to midnight.
We will kick off the festival on Friday evening with a house concert and dinner in the Beeman Cashin building. The audience will enjoy an interactive event filled with music and storytelling in a comfortable, intimate environment with An Evening with Whippoorwill with special guest Ridge Gilmour.
On Saturday, the festival moves to the lawn and performers will entertain the audience from the professional outdoor stage. A diverse group of award winning bluegrass musicians have been selected to perform this year. Their styles range from traditional bluegrass, Celtic bluegrass to progressive bluegrass and, new this year, a Reggae After Party.
Saturday Outdoor Concert - The Barefoot Movement headlines with Nu Blu, Wild Mountain, Laney Lou & the Bird Dogs, The Good Time Travelers and The Barton Hills Choir
Saturday Reggae After Party with nationally recognized Reggae artist Pato Banton. Music from these nationally and regionally acclaimed bands will fill the air in this beautiful, and uniquely Evanston, setting.
