Artistic Expressions Healing Arts Initiative: Benefit & Veteran Art Show
Artist John Sebelius created Artistic Expressions Healing Arts Initiative, an arts-based program in 2016 to provide both mental and physical space for veterans to learn new skills and explore their emotions, histories, and health needs through a creative healing process.
Join us at the Historic Harley-Davidson and Evel Knievel Museum to learn how your support for the arts can help veterans in our community. Purchase of admission includes: appetizers from Merchants Pub & Plate, adult drinks, and private tour of Evel Knievel Museum. All proceeds raised will help sustain Artistic Expressions Healing Arts Initiative.
We have partnered with arts non-profit ARTSConnect so every donation made is 100% tax deductible. Please make all donations out to ARTSConnect, with Artistic Expressions in the memo. Thank you for your support!

"The majority of the veterans attending the class have no past experience with art creation and have great trepidation about their own creative abilities before they take the course. I have seen a profound change in the individuals after they have completed the 7-week class, they are positively affected by this type of creative exploration and are engaging in a holistic approach to healing that builds on creativity, self-reflection, and community-supported treatments."
