A Shayna Maidel by Barbara Lebow, directed by Susan Hardie
Separated by war, a Polish family finally gets the chance to reunite. Mordechai and his younger daughter Rose fled to America when Rose was just four. His wife and eldest daughter Lusia were caught by the Nazis and held in concentration camps. His wife did not survive. Sixteen years later, Lusia finally makes it to America, and the contrast between the two sisters is painfully apparent. Through discussions, disagreements, and a letter from the past, the three find a way to restore family and find hope.
