Direct to Consumer Training Seminar
Woodinville Wine Country will be hosting a two day training with the WISE Academy (Wine Industry Sales Education) on April 9 & 10. They will be integrating last weekends Mystery Shopping Results into this DTC class. We will be sending out the overview of the results next week to all our members.
The two days of training is valued at $800 per person.
Cost to attend $65 and this includes:
Class is 9am - 5pm (8:30 registration and coffee and Pastry)
2 days of training for one person
Boxed Lunch each day
Coffee, light snacks and water
Passport to Woodinville business participants can have two per winery for free.

Day 1: 7 Secrets of Professional Selling
This training is a deeper dive into what it takes to be a successful tasting room professional - understanding what makes great service and hospitality as well as natural, helpful sales. Attendees will cover the '7 Secrets of Professional Selling' and learn the best practices and standards with tools they need to create the kinds of positive guest experiences that lead to long term relationships and, ultimately, increased sales. This will be a full day of training with pre-work of mystery shopping prior to the training, which will be discussed to highlight best practices as seen by our peers and a review of lessons learned.
Day 2: Advanced Sales Training
This training is the next level beyond the '7 Secrets' and the standards reviewed there. Attendees will learn how to master more professional sales skills and deliver superb service. Better service equates to memorable 'WOW' experiences that leads to higher wine and club conversion rates as well as guest satisfaction. This training raises the bar for wine industry sales professionals and takes them beyond the skills of '7 Secrets' to a new, higher level of tasting room service and sales. This will also be a full day of training - attending day 1 is highly recommended but not required for this advanced training.
