On Friday, March 16, at 7 p.m. Stockade Works in association with the Bardavon will be hosting a FREE screening of the documentary, Newtown, at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in the City of Kingston. Through intimate testimonials and exclusive access, the 2017 film focuses on the community of Newtown, Connecticut in the aftermath of the largest mass shooting of schoolchildren in American history.
The event will also offer an opportunity for attendees to further the conversation about gun safety reform during a post-screening panel discussion and Q & A with the film's director, Kim Snyder, and expert panelists (to be announced).
The screening on March 16 is free and open to the public.
