BILLY GOATS GRUFF THE MUSICAL - Musical Reading

BILLY GOATS GRUFF THE MUSICAL is a children's musical that turns the classic folktale on its head. The three Billy Goats Gruff kids can't get along: the youngest wants to do her own thing, the middle one wants everyone to play together, and the oldest wants everyone to do what he says. After Mama goes off to work, the kids' arguments come to a head and the littlest goat runs away to find her own adventures. Once she gets to the bridge to cross to the other side, she runs into a troll who likes the littlest goat's spunk and makes her an honorary troll. The little girl goat swears never to return home and to stay a troll forever. This musical is a lesson in sibling relationships and playing together.

At this event, actors of Aggregate Theatre Company will perform a rough draft of the script and songs of BILLY GOATS GRUFF, which Aggregate is developing for a full production to be performed at Church on Morgan in August of 2018. This reading, which will take place in the lobby of Church on Morgan, is not a formal performance as actors will be seated with their scripts and music in their hands. This is an opportunity for audiences to get a behind-the-scenes look at the musical theatre development process and get a sneak peek at what will be coming to Church on Morgan this summer.
