An Enemy of The People
An Enemy Of The People (1885) is a story of truth and how a man fights to tell it to his community.  Written by Henrik Ibsen and directed by David Axelrod, this play takes place in a small, coastal Norwegian town famous for its baths. Once it is discovered these baths are toxic with pollution, Dr. Thomas Stockman takes this finding of his public.  His mission is quickly attacked by the mayor, Peter Stockman, who is intent on silencing his brother, the always independent thinker, at all costs.  As the mayor succeeds, and even turns most of the town against his sibling, and as the Doctor himself struggles with his own excesses of zeal, a victory of a bigger kind emerges.  The truth that eventually shows itself to Dr. Stockman is larger and more encompassing than that of the baths, it is the truth that has to do with anyone who really speaks. Come experience this historic play and truly eternal story.

Cast: Tim Platt, Steven Myers, Emily Robinson, Dustin Trabert, Sara Claflin, Douglas Hoffman, Sophie Scheller, Sasha Malinsky, David Persson, KC Walters, Aarron Gonzalez and others.
