Brighton Beam Productions presents an exciting, new, site specific piece of theatre based in a dingy flat in Hastings. A man and a woman, whilst waiting for a phone call from a colleague, find themselves unwrapping secrets in a psychological game of pass the parcel. Expect the unexpected!

Maria McAteer started writing for theatre after winning National Westminster Playwrights Awards for her first two plays "Little Secrets" & "Catfood" performed at The Soho Theatre. "The Bees Mouth" and "My Friend Lester" followed, the former selling out at two Brighton festivals and continues to tour. Maria has worked in collaboration as a writer and actor with various young peoples theatre companies including Theatre Centre, Krazy Kat and Free2Bme anti-bullying project in Essex. Maria studied drama at The Poor School also works as an actor in tv and theatre, tv credits include: Byker Grove, Harry, Casualty, Finney, The Bill and Call Red.
Karen Spicer has been a professional Theatre Practioner for 27 years, performing for such companies as Nottingham Roundabout, Nottingham Playhouse New writing partnership, Birmingham Rep Transmissions Company, Graeae, Red Ladder, Theatre Centre, Trestle, Polka, Fittings Multi Media, Nuffield Theatre Southampton, Mind The Gap, Quicksilver, Interplay and Oldham Collisium. Her tv credits include: Emmerdale, The Royal Today, Doctors, No Angels, Heartbeat, The Royal, Coronation Street, Peak Practice and Clocking Off. This is her third time directing for Brighton Beam Productions.
Hugo Degenhardt is an actor and musician living in Hastings. This is his first time working with Brighton Beam Productions. Hugo's theatre credits include: Falling Molly Twist, Celtic Craic, Dream On with The Irish Theatre Co. Film-The Technique, Love In idleness, The Hitchhiker. Hugo is well known for playing Ringo Starr in The Bootleg Beatles and remains a sought after professional drummer on the music circuit.
