Denise Dillenbeck: Yakima Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster, violin,
A superlative violin soloist...the highlight of the evening was Denise Dillenbeck playing the violin solo in 'The Lark Ascending' as if it were the last song in the world...Dillenbeck gave it a subtlety, honesty and vulnerability, with a rarefied tone that perfectly captured a soaring, singing bird...
The Tacoma News Tribune

Naomi Wachira: Lauded in 2013 as Best Folk Singer in Seattle, Naomi Wachira is an artist of formidable talent and heart. Seattle Music Insider raves her performances as "marked by her strong stage presence, storytelling and enduring smile." Wachira's voice is a melding of rich sources from her childhood in Kenya, her Northwest home, and such American inspirations as Tracy Chapman and South African activist Miriam Makeba. Her music & songwriting brings together harmonies that speak across continents and cultures.

During the pre-show reception, you will dine on Latin-inspired hors doeuvres as you browse through the gallery filled with works by local artists and Heritage University students. It is a jubilee that celebrates the best that the Yakima Valley has to offer.
