Samohi Theatre takes us back to the early 60's with the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical comedy "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying". |
"How to Succeed" follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch who uses a little handbook to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the office party, backstabbing coworkers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love.
Featuring many familiar Frank Loesser tunes like "Brotherhood of Man," How To Succeed's satire on power and sexism in the workplace promises to generate laughs while prompting discussions on current events from Hollywood to the White House.
