About the show:
C.S. Lewis' fantastic tale of human siblings, mythical creatures, a noble lion, and a conniving witch battling over the future of a magical world called Narnia. To escape the bombing of London during WWII, four siblings are sent to the live in the country. The youngest child, Lucy, quickly discovers that an old wardrobe stored in their new home is a gateway to the magical world of Narnia where-- thanks to a terrible witch-- it is always winter but never Christmas. When Lucy returns from her first trip through the wardrobe, she struggles to convince her brothers and sister that the wardrobe is a gateway, Narnia exists, and their help is needed to end winter. Lucy is accused of telling stories but her youngest brother, Edmund, soon follows her through the wardrobe. Edmund is then quickly drawn to the witch and coaxed into a promise of bringing his siblings to her. As a result, all four children go through the wardrobe and embark on a journey to save the innocent, find Aslan the lion, and defeat the White Witch.
