Linquist & Vennum LLP and Out Twin Cities Film Festival present A Divine Sunday: A Fundraiser Featuring Documentaries and Presentations by Noted Filmmaker Jeffrey Schwarz.
Join us for screenings of acclaimed filmmaker Jeffrey Schwarz's documentaries VITO and I AM DIVINE (Minnesota Premiere) at St. Anthony Main Theatre.
VITO tells the story of Vito Russo, founding father of the gay liberation movement, author of "The Celluloid Closet," and vociferous AIDS activist in the 1980s.
I AM DIVINE tells the story of actor Harris Glenn Milstead and his female persona Divine, star of John Waters films including HAIRSPRAY and PINK FLAMINGOS.
The event includes a reception at Pracna with the films' director and producer Jeffrey Schwarz.
All proceeds from the evening will benefit The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.
