Doug Navolt BBQ Fundraiser

We are united in raising money to give aid to Doug and his family. Doug has a long recovery in front of him! Please show your support.

On October 29, 2012, Doug was critically injured in a motorcycle accident. At the scene of the accident, they did not think that he would survive, but miraculously he lived, and Doug was revived at the hospital in critical condition. After two weeks in ICU, Doug began to wake up. He had multiple injuries, though the biggest one was the injury to his brain - and a long recovery is still ahead of him. He had multiple blood clots in his legs, his left arm is very weak from the damage to his brain, he needs assistance to walk, and his memory has been very affected, with memories slowly coming back to him. Christine Navolt, and Doug's family and friends have been at Doug's side non-stop.
Doug has been through a rehabilitation center in their area and was released and sent home on January 21st under the care of Christine. He is recovering slowly. The doctors anticipate a year or so for full recovery. In addition to the loss of work, and the medical expenses, there have been and will continue to be numerous other expenses. As long as Doug is recovering, the family is without income. Every aspect of this debilitating accident is costly. Not only financially; but mentally and emotionally. The Navolts need is for financial help. If you can participate in the fundraiser, your donation will make a difference for them, and aid them in getting back on their feet.
