Brahms Requiem and Tragic Overture
The Smith College Choirs and Smith College Orchestra present The Iva Dee Hiatt Memorial Spring Oratorio on Saturday, March 3 at 4pm in Smith College's John M. Greene Hall. Alongside the Penn State Glee Club and members of the Smith College Alumnae Chorus, they will perform A German Requiem by Johannes Brahms in the original language.
Amanda Huntleigh and Jonathan Hirsh share conducting duties for this performance, which also includes Brahms Tragic Overture. Jamie-Rose Guarrine, soprano and Joshua Jeremiah, baritone perform as soloists. The Penn State Glee Club, under the direction of Christopher Kiver, will perform vocal selections from their tour repertoire.
