In The Green Room: The College Musical, we get a sneak peek into the world that very few outside the theater get to see; a shadow box into the trials and tribulation of becoming an actor in college. This musical brings to life what happens inside the four walls of St. Gustav's College theatre departments backstage green room. We follow the hopes, passions, and dreams of four theatre majors: Anna (the princess), John (the theatre jock), Divonne (the diva), and Cliff (the nerd). In this pop musical, they discover themselves, build lifelong friendships, and pursue their theatre aspirations! Its a fun-loving show about hope, friendship, and what it takes to be successful in theatre, that you wont want to miss!

Brandon Cayetano (Cliff, Director, Producer)- Brandon is a Senior at the University of Minnesota, and is pursuing a dual degree in Theatre Arts (BA) and Economics (BS). This production of The Green Room is the culmination of Brandon's Senior Project for the Theatre Department, and he's incredibly thankful for everyone who has helped him take on this challenge. Directing, producing, and acting in this show has been one of the biggest projects he's taken on, as well as one of the most fun and rewarding processes he's been a part of. He cant wait for everyone to see this super fun show!

Caleb Conway (John)- Caleb is a freshman at the U of M, is from Ellsworth, Wisconsin, and plans to double major in English and Theatre Arts, as well as pursue a career in English education. He'd like to thank all of his family and friends, his past teachers, and his former directors: Shelly Moore Krajacic, Katie Fuchs, and Jared Zeigler. He wouldn't be where he is without them. "Its chaos. Be kind."

Cynthia George (Stage Manager)- Cynthia is a Junior at the U of M studying German. She's lucky enough to have some experience from her days in high school and she's very excited to return to theatre. She's grateful to Brandon for asking her to be a part of this amazing little show and she cant wait for everyone to see it!

Bekah Klemp (Music Director)- Bekah Klemp is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in piano performance. Although much of her musical background is with solo repertoire, she also has experience accompanying a variety of soloists, orchestras, bands, chamber groups, and choirs. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work the band and the rest of the crew for her first theatrical project.

Kate Plasterer (Anna)- Kate is beyond thrilled to be playing Anna in The Green Room. She loves the heart and the humor that The Green Room brings, and she feels so lucky to be working with such an outstanding creative team. Kate is currently a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, and is studying Theatre Education with an Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate.

Ellen Roubik (Divonne)- Ellen is a freshman at the University of Minnesota and is planning on receiving a BA in Theater Arts with a minor in Music. She loves dogs, chocolate milkshakes, lava lamps, space, theater, and countless other things. She has been involved in theatrical productions her entire life, but especially likes performing Shakespeare. If you ever wanna find Ellen, you'll probably catch her hanging out at the nearest body of water enjoying the awesomeness of the outdoors, or sitting happily inside a theater listening to Simon and Garfunkel. Shed like to give a special thanks to her dog Wally for being the bestest friend she's ever had and would also like to tell everyone to catch her on the flip side!

Joseph Vang (Assistant Director)- Joseph is excited to be working as the Assistant Director in this production. With many years of experience as an actor, he is thrilled to be helping create this musical piece from a new perspective. He has worked on local productions both on stage and back stage and hope that the audience will enjoy this fun and heartwarming musical.
