In the Hands of the Raven - MCC
In the Hands of the Raven is Peter Alexander's new musical love story which deals with getting through life in time of upheaval, and the guiding forces which help us deal with the events we face on a daily basis. The show tells the story of Amy, a television reporter, and her true love Jerry, a comic strip artist, and how they both cope with traumatic change as they reckon with their individual futures. Love, compassion and humor abound in this touching story that is amplified by Alexander's beautiful score.
This is a semi-staged reading of the show which has been in development for several years. There are five scheduled performances in the Bay area in February:
Alcove Theater: February 8-10 (Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm, Sunday at 2:00 pm) in San Francisco. Tickets for this performance can be obtained at this Brown Paper Ticket event.
Metropolitan Community Church: Friday, February 15 at 8:00 pm in San Francisco. You are currently viewing the Brown Paper Ticket event for these performances.
Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts: Saturday, February 16 at 7:30 pm in Mountain View. Tickets for this performance must be purchased by telephone from the MVCPA ticket office (call 650-903-6000) or from the MVCPA website.
