Chod Retreat
Chod Retreat with Kalu Rinpoche Feb 19-21, 2018
*Due to popular demand, this program is relocated from KKC to a bigger space at Palpung Phende Kunkyab, 4251 Victoria Dr, Vancouver, B.C. And we are happy to announce that more tickets are available!
The word chod means cutting through. Our habit of attachment and clinging to a self give rise to causes and conditions in our life which result in suffering. Chod practice is a skilful method that enables us to let go of false notions and beliefs regarding the inherent existence of appearances. By practicing Chod, we liberate ourselves from the four maras, and come to understand the emptiness of all appearances including ourselves.
Day 1: Feb 19 1-3 pm - Chod Empowerment 3-3:30 pm - Tea Break 3:30-6 pm - Teaching
Day 2 & 3: Feb 20 & 21 2-3:30 pm - First Practice Session 3:30-4 pm - Tea Break 4-6 pm - Second Practice Session
Cost: $150
Feel free to pay more than the ticket price as a donation to fund those who may need financial assistance for the program. If your ability to pay makes it difficult for you to attend, please contact us at info@kkc-kdol.org for options.
