Knowing how to make a good sauce is an important skill to have in your cooking repertoire. Learn the essential components of three of the famous mother sauces that are the foundation for a myriad of other sauces as Lucia demonstrates hollandaise sauce, béchamel and its variation velouté. You will practice your technique by making a béchamel and then use it in a classic macaroni and cheese.

This is a hands on cooking class with a vegetarian menu
Students will enjoy a taste of each recipe, and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to students 21 and over.
