Please join Glyn Jones, garden and countryside manager of the renowned Hidcote Manor Garden, as he describes the restoration of this exquisite Arts and Crafts garden in the English Cotswolds. Developed between 1907 and 1948 by Lawrence Johnston, Hidcote Manor became one of the most influential gardens of the 20th century and was the first property accepted by the National Trust on the strength of its gardens alone. Jones reviews the fascinating life of Johnston, a globe-trotting horticulturist and influential garden designer, and shares insights from his own recent botanizing trips to South Africa, Lesotho, and Yunnan Province in China.
