Golden Ratio in Art, Architecture, and Nature
The Golden Ratio has been used in art and architecture from very early times.  It has come to light that these principles are found in nature, in our bodies and everything in the Universe.

The Egyptians used the golden ratio for the pyramids and in their art, as did the Greeks.

Leonardo da Vinci was not formally educated. He educated himself by studying nature. He knew of the geometry of the golden ratio or divine proportion, and used it in composing his paintings as well as sculptures and architecture. He made 3 dimensional drawings of golden ratio geometric forms for a book on Divine Proportion by Luca Pacioli.

Examples of the golden ratio in art, architecture and nature will be shown.

Leonardo Da Vinci focused on using nature as the grand master who guided his creativity. There are now new sciences called Biomimicry and Biophilia.  Leonardo used these principles during his lifetime, yet now it is leading-edge transformational science.  This will also be explained - with examples in our modern times.

You will see how the golden ratio appears in this science by virtue of going deeply into the forms found in nature even at the smallest scale.  You will see how Leonardo da Vinci would be delighted with these new discoveries using inspiration from nature.

"Let no one ignorant of geometry enter my doors."  Plato

Learn about divine geometry that will help make what you create in beautiful proportion.
