Earth loving plant lovers unite !!
The theme for this year's event is Reweaving the Web * What strand is yours to carry and what seeds do we want to plant to help birth the kind of world we want to live in... and hopefully... leave behind for the next 7 generations? It starts within ourselves...listening with new ears, seeing with new eyes, living from the heart, and remembering our connection with the plants, the land, all of life ... and each other. All are welcome regardless of skill level.
As always, free camping on the land is still an option and is encouraged for the "full immersion experience". We will be offering 21 herbal classes to choose from. Keynote by folk healer , street shaman Richael Faithful and live music by local, soulful siren Cassi Raye , followed by a Fire Circle Ceremony Saturday night ! This is a drug and alcohol free event.
Due to the fact that we have dropped our prices considerably from last year, single day tickets are not an option. Cost is $85. To purchase tickets go to https://3rdshenandoahvalleyherbalgathering.brownpapertickets.com/.
Meal plan option deadline is May 25th !! Please plan to bring your own food after that, or there are many restaurants in town just 10 minutes away.
We believe Everyone should have access to herbal teachings. With this in mind, limited work trades are available- please inquire if you are in need. We offer teen and student discount prices as well. (ages 16 and up).Kids under 16 are free.** Kids camp ages 4 and up. Children under the age of 4 must be with an adult at all times. We love dogs, but please leave them at home.
The Shenandoah Valley Herbal Gathering is a two day immersion event and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Here are some tips for what to bring - camping gear, your own reusable cup, plate and utensils, sunhat, good walking shoes or boots (the grass is very wet here in the mornings) , bugspray, flashlight, food if you are not signing up for the meal plan, drum or percussion instrument if you've got them, sunblock, blankets (gets chilly here at night) and a notebook/pen, a small item for our community altar that is special to you (you can retrieve it when you leave), and any other fun things you feel called to bring !
Please note* All registrations are final and non-refundable- this event is rain or shine- we have big covered tents ! If you purchased a ticket and cannot attend, you have several options. You can transfer the ticket to attending next year's event. You can donate your ticket to our scholarship program.Or..you can pass your ticket onto a friend.
