Bellingham Chamber Music Society Presents: Out of this World: "A Tribute to David Maslanka"
David Maslankas other worldly, gentle spirit permeates all his music. He has been celebrated for his immense contribution to wind, brass and percussion literature, and finds a unique soul in their voices. In a celebration of his music, BCMS will perform his Wind Quintet No. 3, Little Concerto for Six Players, and selections from his Song Book for alto saxophone and marimba.
This concert features members of the Fifth Inversion Wind Quintet, Dr. Patrick Roulet, marimba, and Fred Winkler, alto saxophone.
