Newly formed lower mainland theater company Speedbump Theatre is thrilled to present the world premiere of their first theatre production, The Past, from Wednesday, February 21-March 3, 2018 at Studio 1398. (No performance Monday, February 26)
Two aging, lonely alcoholics strike up an unlikely friendship at an AA meeting that goes badly sideways. As their friendship deepens, the impulsive young woman who brought them together now seeks for their own sake to drive them apart. Is love between two such damaged people possible or desirable or safe?
Directed by award winning director Marko Hohlbein and written by Arthur Holden, winner of the 2017 Theatre BC Canadian National Playwriting Competition.
