La Modestine - "Music Restored"
La Modestine invites you to our concert on Saturday November 25, when we will present a concert of English music from the 17th and 18th centuries. The concert will be at Hodson Manor in Vancouver, 7:30pm. We hope you'll join us for a glass of wine, a nibble of cheese, and an evening of beautiful music.
La Modestine is a professional period-instrument ensemble based in Vancouver, comprising players who have made it their specialty to perform works from the baroque period and who bring a wealth of experience performing in venues around the world. They are: Marc Destrubé and Linda Melsted, violins, Natalie Mackie, viola da gamba, and Michael Jarvis, harpsichord.
