Tao Theory CD Release Party
Tao Theory is an instrumental, New Acoustic trio, comprised of Greg Barnett on guitar, Susan Shloss on violin, and Robert Adamich on guitar. Their first album release, Grateful, promises to take the listener on a journey not to be missed.

Tao Theory's original music has flavors of Celtic, improvisational jazz, mood indigo and renegade classical ~ filled with unusual, fun, lively, deep and unexpected twists and turns.

About the Band:

Susan Shloss started playing violin at the age of seven and studied classical music for many years. At fifteen, she decided to put down the music and learn to play by ear. Inspired by Stephane Grappelli and gypsy jazz, she developed her own heart-full style of improvisation. Susan holds a bachelor of music from Baldwin Wallace College Conservatory of Music.

Robert Adamich has played guitar and bass in bands, solo, and in duets since he was sixteen. His music is crafted out of his life experiences, seen through the lens of spirit, hope and healing. One of the best ideas of his life was to surround himself with friends who love to express themselves through music, and who support each other in the creative process. He recently was a member of Deep Six with five other Bay Area songwriters. This summer, Robert and Susan performed as a duo in Ireland.

Greg Barnett has performed many hundreds of times in styles ranging from classical to jazz to Celtic to rock in concert halls, circus tents, nightclubs, churches, yoga studios, and theaters. Some highlights include two years touring North America and Europe with Cirque du Soleil's Dralion, five seasons with the California Shakespeare Festival, and multiple appearances at spiritual music festivals on the West Coast. He received a Master of Music degree in 1988.  He is dedicated to creating music that expresses love, joy, gratitude, and the Divine.
